Fall 2010/Spanish 102 (Afternoon)
FALL 2010/Spanish 201

Congratulations all! We had a great semester! If you are on campus check out the G Building display located next to room G108. We mounted the exhibit "Globalization: Notions and Testaments" as a collaboration between professors Alessandra Moctezuma, María Consuelo López Arámburo and María Bolívar, from the Departments of Chicano Studies, Languages, and Art. We did it thanks to a grant from the Humanities Institute. It will be up for the entire year 2010-2011. Take a few moments to reflect on the strong messages conveyed by the posters, the micro-stories, and the photographs included, they are all the original work of participants in the workshop "Understanding Globalization on the US Mexico Border. ********* I have posted my grades. You will be able to retrieve them through e-grades, online, from the comfort of your home. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. ********* Have a pleasant and stress-free summer and don't forget to practice Spanish. TV, Latino movies, wonderful Spanish speaking towns, and equally wonderful Spanish speaking people are all over for you to continue to practice over the break. ********** My Spanish 211 students (now former students) plan to practice through a summer conversation class. If you are ever up to having a Spanish flavor coffee (or meal), do not hesitate to count me in. If you want to share your positive thoughts with the class, please visit my guest book and leave us with some words to remember. Also visit the best board of the semester coming soon! ¡Buena suerte! y ¡Muchas gracias por un extraordinario semestre!
